Good for ordinary tasks

It setup automatically when plugged in. The sound is not good for music but it is ok for notifications. I put this in my husband's workshop downstairs so he could hear the doorbell ring and I could call him from upstairs if I needed to talk to him.

I will truly recommend this to all my friends and family. I received this for a Christmas present. I will definitely purchase another one to put in a different area in the house. The nicest thing too is that it acts as a nightlight. Once you have one Alexa device it is so easy to keep adding more to the system. Having one in every area of your home makes it very convenient.

Bought this to install next to our sink next to our disposal switch. We have a voice activated disposal so having an alexa nearby and right on the wall is nice so we dont have to yell out loud "Alexa turn off the disposal" to the nearest alexa speaker.

Not as great as the dot

I was hoping to use it in my son’s room as an easy alarm, but it isn’t loud enough to wake him up. It also goes offline a ton. I have 3 other echoes in my house and this is the only one I have that problem with.

Great addition to the echo family

All the same features as the regular echo but just easier to put in certain places. Got 1 in my basement and one in kids bathroom. Works also well with Alexa guard features for added security
