Alexa is a kick. Always learning some new trick. Sound is amazing fills up my 2-bedroom house. Alexa is centrally-located and can hear me from any room in the house. Alexa app makes setup a breeze!

A caveman woke up one morning and said, “Ugh, me going to invent electricity, computer, internet, WiFi, and Echo just so I don’t have to turn on own lights, or get vague weather report, or listen to local radio station without turning on radio.......” Ok, the lights thing is kinda nice in the morning when you first get up, or dragging yourself to bed at night. I have both bedroom lights (wife’s and my bedside) and living room and stairway...and hallway...and outside back and front door lights.....and son’s bedroom overhead. Other then the lights and a few games that you can play with Echo, AI still is in its infancy. Getting the Phillips Hue bulb with Echo is a plus because you can find less expensive smart bulb brands online. Definately not a “Must Have” combo but:

The Echo is a great addition for my busy household. The voice commands to play music is excellent. The fact I can sit on my couch and control the lights and other items just by saying what i want is just amazing.

Brought this on recommendation of a store employee. He said that it was the best deal because it had the hub in it already, but it still didn't work with hue lighting without the hue hub. I still like it though.

Thought this was for lazy people, but got one to try it out. So glad I did. Smartifying my house and the Echo plus is the way to go. Super easy to set up, very compatible with other devices. Awesome invention!!

Let there be light - this has been awesome to be able to walk in to a room and with a spoken word from me have the light go on. Equally impressive is that it gradually goes bright so you aren’t blinded by it.

Works great, sounds great, easy to set up, and linked easily to my TP-Link smart plugs & switches & philips hue bulbs.

Echo plus seems to work as they say. I have it running two lights so far. Plan on setting up seven more. Nice product.

We use this everyday and it has a surprisingly great speaker for listening to music.
