A: The Echo Plus comes with a built-in hub to control other devices such as lights. The Echo requires you to purchase the hub separately to control other devices.

A: With the echo plus , it has a built in smart hub which can control the lights and other things in your house. I bought the hue lights so you can dim them or change the color of the lights by asking Alexa to change it.
A: Echo plus definitely doesn’t have the same quality. This is a higher quality speaker.
Q: Does the bulb need the Phillips Hue bridge to work? Or can it work off the echo?
A: If you have an Echo plus, you do not need the Philips Hue Bridge, as it has built in “smart hub”. If you buy any other version, you will need the hub.
A: Yes, when you open the box that your Echo is in there is a small instruction packet inside. It gives you a website you can visit to set up your Alexa powered devices via your computer. You can also visit that same website to edit Alexa's settings or add skills to her.

A: Yes you can play music from your Sirius radio account. Just open your Alexa app, download the Sirius app function from the “Skills” menu option, sign in and you’re all setup for Alexa play your Sirius radio music.
