This echo works as is should. Its good for the basics. Problem is not everything works directly with it. Example, the Nest thermostat works with it, but not directly. You have to first download the Nest “skill”. After that, it works with it, but not for every feature. I can program it so when I say “hey Alexa, good morning”, it will turn on the lights, turn off the Christmas tree, and turn on the coffee maker... but I cant have it do anything with the Nest. I have to specifically ask it to do what I want the Nest to do. Meaning, I have to say “hey Alexa, god morning” then “hey Alexa, raise the temperature”. But aside from that, I like it. Its helpful, loud, and does surprise me with things I didn’t know it could do

New version is much better, Integrated Hub works great and response time is better than previous. Upgraded to this one from older version. Responsive.

I don't know how I got along without it, but it's not perfect. Alexa often requires simple words be repeated. And the Alexa Plus needs clearer instructions if one is adding it to legacy smart products with other hubs. Other than these issues, it's wonderful.

I enjoy the premium sound with this Amazon Echo Plus speaker. Of course it also connects to Alexa, so I can do everything from making calls to listening to music, and finding recipes for cooking meals.is compatible with smart home technology for hands-free control of lighting and other functions. I like the Amazon Echo Plus speaker because it adapts to my speech patterns.

This version support smart home accessories, which is super convenient. I don't need to purchase many different bridges to support blub and lock etc.

This is our main hub device. We had some struggles setting it up but once we got past that, it has performed flawlessly. We now have 5 additional Echo devices and more than 25 products that connect with Echo. The sound is good although we have added a subwoofer which makes the sound outstanding. Very happy with the device.

As a newbie in smart home technology, I was attracted to the Echo Plus because of the built-in Zigbee hub which means it can connect directly to products like the Philips Hue line of smart bulbs without the need for a separate smart hub. Combine that with the power of Alexa voice commands and I was able to get my smart home up and running in a matter of minutes.

The light came free with the Echo (didn’t know) but now that I have that one I want to get all my lights like this one! It’s so great and convenient to be able to tell it to turn off right before I leave the room instead of having to walk over there to pull the cord. Or even better when you forget to turn the switch off before you sit down, that’s the worst!

Does not get any better! I'm not a techie but it was so easy to set up and start listening/asking Alexa questions. Pandora/Amazon Prime compatible - good sound quality. I've only used for about two weeks and still discovering Alexa's many talents. Going to try the safety features like turning lights on and off - thermostat control, etc. Well worth the money!

I love all of the things you can do with the Echo. I am still learning everything I can do and look forward to more content going forward.

Great sound and voice recognition, easy to set up and fun to use.

Decided to go for Amazon Echo Plus to set up my smart home due to Alexa’s bigger eco system. Speaker sound is ok but sometimes the device doesn’t hear Instructions or questions very well but maybe it is just due to our accent. Anyways, it functions well as a smart hub so I can control the lights, door locks, etc remotely or through voice instructions.

Bought this for my daughter for Xmas cause she is a techie Bought this cause it has a hub inside to connect all sorts of smart products

We are switching from Google to Amazon and want to use it for home automation. Looking forward to setting everything up after Christmas.

I love the echo products and the fact that they are constantly improving makes them even better. I don't feel like the plus is that much more than the older models. That being said it is nice using the plus to discover new smart devices.

Love this device! It works exceptionally well and coupled with Philips Hue, the smart system is awesome! Definitely worth the money!

Easy process to install. Speaker sounds good for what it is.

Alexa is Amazing. She can go from telling me about the weather to listening to my favorite song. Don’t know how I lived without her.

Love my Echo Plus, echo, echo spot and Ech show. Very satisfied with the products. They work great individually or with each other.

Great speaker and having the light hub is only a plus!
