I bought this device to use as an Alexa device and a monitor for my outside security cameras and it’s great. But I prefer the echo dot 3 the sound is way better. I except for the sound it is great I like that I can use the camera on the device to video call and keep an eye when I’m out.

Great addition to have with other devices, but not a requirement. It’s a good use with Ring devices. However, the devices app gives similar features. A good stand alone device too.

Great for a bed side alarm very useful when you need quick facts.

Don't like echo enabled products because of the necessity for internet. I got a Bose speaker with Alexa on it for close to 600 dollars including geek squad protection. I use Amazon devices because the alarms are loud and annoying. For a heavy sleeper it's perfect until the internet goes out and messes up the device completely.

These Echo is awesome! I bought this to pair with a Ring Camera and replace a old FM/AM radio in the bedroom. Its amazing how much technology is moved forward. This has literally most apps you can find on tablets/phones. I would recommend as a great gift!

This item is awesome. I am able to communicate with my children in different areas on face time with convenience. Plus I love the convenience of being able to listen to my music and not have to wear earphones while working out. I got it on sale which was an added bonus!

I bought it with the door lock for $10. I wanted to buy more

Bought 5 of these to put in different rooms and works great.

Performs as it should but returned it in favor of the 8” model. The 5 is just too small.

I purchased this to go with my doorbell so i could sit it in my nightstand or my office on my desk so I could see who was at the door. I work from home and have dogs so they bark when they hear a noise. Keeps down the knocking and i dont have to quit working to go check

Boring me to distraction. I usually leave it off and not plugged in.

Wife has been waiting to get one and on black friday it dropped down to $35, so she jumped on the deal. Most important thing about why she likes it is to be able to get alerts ut more importantly, alerts and video from our ring camera!

As my first AI talking device, I was pleasantly surprised how much you can do with this thing. Alexa knows and can do quite a bit, and all the features you can use with the screen are neat. This beats having any radio clock, in my opinion!

Fun to view fur babies at home and see what they are into!
