A good basic echo. A little annoying user interface that’s hard to keep set up to your preferences. Hence minus 1 star.

This came as a gift of a TV purchased in Best Buy, put it in my office and it's really easy to use. Mostly used for music.

We have the Echo 10 and the Echo 8 - bought this 5 for my dad who was in a skilled nursing facility across the country and was miserable. He had the 10 at home and kept telling us he missed it. It was great because he used it all of the time to play music and sometimes watched a movie. Also great for us to be able to see him and interact with his care givers. If you are only going to have one device-definitely get at least the 8 - but this is a great extra one. We plan to put it in the bedroom when he gets home and leave the 10 in the living room.

I bought one of these for myself, and immediately got one for my BFF. We love video conferencing!

only complaint is the screen minimizes camera view to the corner when you tell it to go to home screen where the last model would dismiss the camera view all together.

I bought this for my cousins in Mexico and they love this device. They like how easy it is to use and the size makes it perfect to place on the nightstand. The sound is good as well as the video quality. It is a shame that this wasn't as popular as it could have been because it works well and then some :). It is a perfect stocking stuffer.

Good quality as of now and I super like it.I used it everyday specially when calling me up to work.

Works great with Ring cameras you can see what’s going on outside like it a lot

Love it. Reliable and easy to use. Very satisfying to walk in my room and ask Alexa to turn on all my appliances and have everything booted while I settle down.

this is my second Echo. my kids love to use Alexa all the time.

We bought this foe our mother and ahe haa loved video chatting with us. It was easy to pair with the videos doorbell.

Great product, seemingly unlimited uses. Highly recommended. Awesome even if you just use it for a clock and weather. I use it to control a wifi bulb... in the middle of the night, I don't have to grope around for a lamp, I just say Alexa turn on light and I can see to go to the bathroom... worth it for just that simple action.

I love all my echo’s but this was the first disappointment. Glitchy, never heard me even though the ones in the other room would respond instead. Not sure if I just got a bad one or this specific gen sucked. Oh well, I’ll keep buying Amazon brand because other than this it’s been very reliable and great. 2 star only because I think I got a defective one, otherwise it would be a 0

Love this. I bought one for my mother for Christmas and she loves it as well. It’s perfect for a small room or bedroom.

Love using this for music around the house and also being able to see my cameras around the house. Great addition to my amazon ecosystem.

I got so mu kids could use it to see the cameras when there home alone. plus it helps me so much around the house
