Got for Christmas gift they loved them kind of want on for my self

I bought this for my father. He loves getting the weather and other trivia information.

It sends me remnders from Rueters several times a day. I've never heard of them before and don't want them. Its a annoying! Cannot find anything on the app for them. Have turned off ALL notifications, including from Amazon, which I wanted. This is has reduced the number but they still come. Have tried every fix I can find online but nothing works. Also, when I first set it up it started giving me sports scores for every sport you can imagine. I didn't want these either but finally figured out how to make them stop. FYI, if you buy one of these don't ask it for a score or schedule for your team because every news break about that team will then come through and there's no way to stop it. Have an echo dot also. Playing music on both of them is sketchy. Will not work at all if I request from the Dot, and only sometimes when I request from the Show. OK, for something good. Displays lyrics for songs that are playing and will display my cook-mate recipes as it links to that app. I got this free with my TV purchase, but still may disconnect. Never had problems with my Dot before I set this up so I know it's the problem. The bad far outweighs the good so I would never spend my money on one!

It works well, and is not too big. We use it a lot with our ring cameras, and as a kitchen timer.

When you close the camera the blocker is white. It looks a little strange on a black echo show.

I love this Alexa device, semi simple setup and use. Will definitely buy more in the future
