I’ve paired it with my other Alexa, and it’s linked to my smart devices like the TV and lights — it works perfectly. I love the sound of the Echo Show 5; it’s a small device but the sound is amazing. The screen quality is also good, even for watching videos. I'm ready to buy another one.

My son had the echo dot (2nd gen) I thought he would have more use out of this one, but he hates the camera feature and covers it up; I have not used the picture display aspect. the second one I have yet to setup still. I think the Dot (3rd gen) which I have in my room currently and have not swapped out works just fine still. Giving my mom the other to see if she will have more use for it and the other features instead of one of the dots she has currently.

I set it up where it has a alarm for you to wake up in the morning it’s fairly loud. Overall I’d recommend if you love listening to music and having daily reminders and reassurance of your home.
