She really likes the way it sounds and the ability to integrate with the ring alarm system. Amazon has set the bar. Great value

Its so easy to use even my 2 year daughter has fun with it as well. It helps especially with having a toddler and a newborn. Hands free is the greatest asset we can have.

Ended up buying several more smart home products that can pair with it. Speaker is nicer sound quality than expected.

Suggest to quickly change it's name so you can say the word Alexa when talking about it and not have it wake up. Also, seems to not like to shut down, I have to report Screen Off several times before it stays off.

Slower verbal command processing can sometimes be improved with a few simple steps: ensure your Echo Show 5 is connected to a strong Wi-Fi signal, check that the device software is up to date by going to Settings > Device Options > Check for Software Updates, and try restarting the device by unplugging it for 30 seconds and plugging it back in. If Alexa+ features are actively running in the background, they may occasionally require a moment longer to process — this can improve over time as the device settles in. Mid putting on my uniform, “Alexa what’s the weather” (because Texas is unpredictable), I’m able to figure out how many layers to wear for the afternoon and night as I’m brushing my teeth/doing my hair. Not to mention when I get home, I can turn my bedroom lights/TV on and off on command. Best purchase ever.
