Great addition for a bedroom

Full Alexa functionality and lots of video features. Settings are a bit complicated but, once you’ve done it, everything works well.

To optimize the sound experience, try adjusting the equalizer settings in the Alexa app under Device Settings > Audio Settings to customize bass, midrange, and treble levels, and position the device away from walls on a solid surface to improve sound projection. The Echo Show 5 is designed primarily as a smart display with voice assistant capabilities, so its audio performance is balanced with its compact size and screen functionality rather than being optimized purely as a speaker. I literally have had to unplug and restart device at least once a week since purchasing. I've only had to do that to my 2nd gen perhaps once or twice per year.
