This allows my wife to quickly see who’s at the door or if movement is detected, too. Add to it all the functionality of an Amazon Echo and its a hit! Screen is crisp and sound clear.

I can't seem to find the setting to take ads away. I already bought the thing and subscribe to Prime. I don't need to be sold anymore.

It’s compact and unobtrusive, making it a convenient addition to my desk setup. In terms of performance, the Echo Show 5 generally handles commands quickly, which is great for basic tasks. However, the device struggles when browsing through the settings. The process can be frustratingly slow, and at times, the system bugs out, abruptly returning me to the home screen. This inconsistency detracts from the otherwise solid user experience. Despite this, for its price and range of features, the Echo Show 5 (3rd Gen) remains a decent choice. Just be prepared for some hiccups when you dive into the settings.

I love that it tells me my local weather conditions and Alexa is a great companion! The speakers work well for my Spotify account and Alexa is always happy to help! A significant improvement over the 2nd Gen

I was always repeating requests on the 2nd Gen. Not so with the new one. A worthwhile upgrade for me.

I would recommend a few paths to try to fix this. First, you can try to test your network connection. You can do this by swiping down from the top and navigating to Settings>Network then tapping the "i" next to your Wi-Fi setting. In here, you can see if you have a strong connection. If you don't then you can tap Forget and then try to reconnect to it. (Be sure you know your Wi-Fi password before tapping forget.) If this doesn't resolve it, you can swipe down and navigate to Settings>Device Options>Check for Software Updates. This ensures that you have the latest update to address any bugs that may have happened. If neither of these work, then I would recommend contacting Amazon Customer Support at 888.280.4331 to explore further options and troubleshooting available to you.
