This 3rd Gen has improved sound quality but the big difference is improved voice recognition and speed via a newer processor. I was always repeating requests on the 2nd Gen. Not so with the new one. A worthwhile upgrade for me.

Excellent upgrade in terms of response compared to my 1st generation Show. The microphone still gives me problems when multiple Alexa devices are near to each other but that is to be expected.

I bought this for my grandson. He is 9 and i love the child blocks and also the alarm for school. He can set up his calendar and has become so organized. Love the Echo Show and the new Alexa+

The echo is a game changer. Its so easy to use even my 2 year daughter has fun with it as well. It helps especially with having a toddler and a newborn. Hands free is the greatest asset we can have.

It does what it says it will do, the only problem is sometimes connecting to my already set up devices and it showing ads in place of the screens I have selected. I can't seem to find the setting to take ads away. I already bought the thing and subscribe to Prime. I don't need to be sold anymore.

Works well. Allows me to see googke nest cameras. Love it.

Wonderful device but may lag if you try to switch screens too quickly. It sometimes connects to incorrect Echo Show, when calling or dropping in.

Grandson loves it! It was a surprise to him to receive before Christmas!

Bought this to go with Ring doorbell, and started using it for a lot more than I expected i would. Ended up buying several more smart home products that can pair with it. Speaker is nicer sound quality than expected.

Purchased this item over 2 years ago and amazingly it still works PERFECT!!

Not as reliable as 2nd generation. I literally have had to unplug and restart device at least once a week since purchasing. I've only had to do that to my 2nd gen perhaps once or twice per year.
