Since I got my Alexa life have been very easy and help me to get up for my everyday activity. Alexa has helped me to be on time for work, school and etc.

I like that you can tap it to snooze and turn on do not disturb the hours you want. I already have two echo dots and an Alexa show and this has not disappointed.

It allows her to call me and my siblings hands-free in an emergency. Plus, she doesn't have to be too much of a techy to interact with it.

I understand your frustration with the screen shutting down and not responding to wake attempts, requiring you to unplug and replug the device to restore functionality. Here are troubleshooting steps that may help resolve this issue: ensure the device has the latest software updates by checking in the Alexa app under Device Settings > About, adjust the screen timeout settings in the Alexa app under Device Settings > Display, verify the device is plugged directly into a wall outlet with the original power adapter, check that your Wi-Fi connection is strong and stable as connectivity issues can cause display problems, disable any Do Not Disturb or Sleep Mode settings that might be interfering with the display, and perform a soft reset by unplugging the device for 60 seconds before plugging it back in. If the screen continues to shut down unexpectedly after these steps, try performing a factory reset through Device Settings in the Alexa app or by holding the Action button for 25 seconds until the light ring turns orange.
