A: Hello Cassie, Thank you for your question. Voice-based calling between Alexa devices including Announcements, Drop-in, and voice calls are supported. Echo Spot does not have an integrated camera, this device does not support features that require an integrated camera such as video calling. Hope this helps, have a nice day!
Q: do you need an amazon account in order to have an ECHO?
A: You need an amazon account to operate ECHO.
Q: can I listen to Spotify if my phone isn’t nearby using this? Can it play Spotify using only WiFi?
A: Hello Questions and thank you for your question! Yes, you can link your Spotify profile to the Amazon Echo Spot to play content. Since the Amazon Echo Spot connects to the internet through a WiFi connection, you do not need a cellular connection! Hope this helps! Have a great day!
Q: is this a universal, like can we use on 220 watts
A: Hi Maria- Thanks for reaching out. The Echo Pop comes with a power adapter that can handle input voltages from 100V to 240V AC. This means it will work in countries that use 220V electrical systems without requiring a voltage converter. While the device can handle 220V input, you may need to use a plug adapter if the shape of the plug doesn't match your country's electrical outlets. The plug adapter doesn't change the voltage; it just allows the device's plug to fit into differently shaped sockets. I hope this helps. Have a great day!
Q: Does it have a timer so you can fall asleep to music and it shuts off?
A: Hello and thank you for asking this question. Alexa is able to make you custom sleep timers and can stop your music and even turn off your smart lights. I hope this answers your question and that you have a great day.
Q: Does it come with a charging port? Or is that an additional cost?
A: Hi PJ! The Echo Spot comes with a 15W power cable at no additional cost. However, it does not include a charging port. I hope this helps. Have a great day!
Q: Does the Echo Spot have capability to act as a WiFi extender like the Echo Dot?
A: Hi Curious! Unfortunately the Echo Spot does not have the eero Built-In feature like the Echo Dot, Echo Pop, and Echo 4th Gen do. If you're looking for a lower cost alternative for better connectivity, just remember that all eero products are backwards compatible with each other so any older eero routers you have around can be installed to help boost your signal. I hope that helps, have a great rest of your day!
Q: Does this have an FM radio?
A: Hi 2025! While the Echo Spot doesn't feature an FM tuner, many FM channels are available to stream via iHeart Radio or other built-in services. I usually show this off by having an Echo play my old college radio station, just ask Alexa to play the station via it's callsign. You'll still need to have an internet connection to play them though. I hope that helps, have a great rest of your day!

I had to get use to using Alexa since I have always used a manual alarm clock and radio. After a week it was very easy to use after initial set-up. I love that there are still buttons on top to adjust the volume and snooze alarm. I also love the small unique round design. I like the vibrant screen with color & scheme options that shows current weather, time, temperature, and date that also turns red at night. This is a reasonably priced product.

This is a really good one. The smart alarm is one of a kind in the segment. The display helps in easy communication of the alexa commands. Very easily configured and sits in a very compact space. The sound quality is the best.
