Alexa’s voice is double the volume of everything else and there’s no clear way to change that - super annoying. I have to repeat my commands or even raise my voice to be heard. Very disappointing. Software for smart home control seems broken, not controlling lights like it used to.

Unplug the Echo Spot and plug it back in to restart it. 2. Check your Wi-Fi network is working properly and your Echo Spot is connected. 3. Open the Alexa app and check for any available software updates. 4. If all else fails, try resetting your Echo Spot to factory settings through the Alexa app. If these steps do not help and you are still experiencing issues, you can reach out to Amazon Customer Support 24/7 at 1-888-280-4331. Also, you cannot change the name of the device. But it works if you want to put it in the kids' room or a side room for usage.
