I was intrigued by this new Alexa product. I use this as an alarm clock (love the Alec Baldwin wake up recording) and to give me access to Alexa-enabled smart home features. The responsivenesss is great even from across the room. It is far better than my Sonos One. I am able to access my Ring doorbell, play music on my Sonos speakers and get video news briefings all by voice command. I like the small form factor which fits nicely on my bedside table and the nighttime dimming light. I think it is a great device that is a great step up from a dot. I don’t use the video calling/drop in features and they are easy to disable.

Sounds was very clear and price is good. Would love to recommend it to your friends.

I upgraded from the Dot and love this on my bedside table. I can now see the time, messages, etc.

Echo shows all info in the screen with buying bigger screen. Mic is very reliable .

This is a great product if your looking for an alarm clock for your nightstand and you use Alexa.

Purchased this device for my in-laws. Set-up was easy & they are slowly learning to use the features. They love being able to communicate using the device from one room to another. I purchased it for safety so if one of them needed assistance they could broadcast to one of their other Alexa devices. Unfortunately, no other family members have an Echo Spot so they haven't been able to chat via video yet.
