Q: Is there a monthly cost to the echo service?
A: No, there is no monthly cost for the echo service. Currently I have the Echo Dot and I'm probably going to get the Spot next. As I said there is no monthly cost. If you don't have Amazon Prime then you probably won't be listening to music through Amazon which is no big deal since there are other music services you can use it to listen to.
Q: Other than size. is Echo Spot the same as Echo Show. Price is a big factor to me.
A: The Show has one 1.4'' speaker and the Spot two 2'' speakers. That is the only difference besides overall size and screen size.
A: Your right. The alarm wouldn't be able to go off in the morning. It needs internet connection for all functions. Let's hope your internet doesn't go down.
Q: Is this 220v compatible or only 110v?
A: The adapter supports 110-240v but you will need to get a physical adapter since it uses the 2-prong plug used in the US and does not come with different plug options.
A: Yup you can use the echo / alexa drop in feature for intercom between them.
Q: Can I use my iPhone to FaceTime call echo spot?
A: No, FaceTime can only be used with Apple products.
Q: What are the features of the Amazon Spot's touch screen and can it be used to turn off an alarm?
A: The features on the touch screen of the echo spot are for the clock, settings and to spand a video clip from your security camera. And yes you can touch it to turn off an alarm , but the biggest thing to have any Alexa product is to use your voice , so you really don’t need to touch the screen, just ask Alexa to stop alarm or give you 5 more minutes.
