Great upgrade from Kindle HD!

He likes how much lighter it is, the crispness of the screen, the fast charge, hokds charge longer , and it turning off and on with the cover. He can open and go, doesn't have to wait for it to turn on.

Great tablet/ereader

I had a different tablet before this and was not sure about changing brands. However, this tablet does everything my other one did and just as well. I use this when my laptop is not practical. I can check email, internet, play games, and (my favorite pastime) read my Kindle books. This was a great purchase!

A lot of tablet for the price, plus an e reader

There are many reduced price books available, plus you can borrow books from the local library. The processor is quick and silk operating system is easy to use, so the tablet functions are great.

He doesn't like that he can't get wallpaper, he just gets ads. And he would like a larger library of apps to download. However, I think he just likes to complain about what he doesn't / can't have. There are a few games from the apple App Store that he wants that are not available from amazon, but believe me, he has not had a shortage of downloads to his kindle.

Quad core snapdragon inside.

This thing is way faster than my iPad, i wanna sell the thing and buy 2 more Kindle HDXs.
