It is great to watch movies, read books, check emails, and surf the net. It is very fast. It is lightweight and can go anywhere.

I love my kindle fire. It is much faster than my old one.

Having been an iPad user for years I was reluctant to buy the Kindle based on reviews of the previous model. I was pleasantly surprised at how responsive it was, easy to setup, light weight and the clarity of the screen. I am disappointed that I can install alternative browsers like that of Chrome (you are forced to use Silk).

This kindle is so much better then the older models.

easy to use great graphics wife loved it for christmas

This is our 4th Kindle Fire. This one was a gift for my son to replace his old Kindle Fire (first version) which is still going strong. This tablet is so easy to set up and use. Great speed, super for games and movies.

I use mine for travel as well as at home. Great for books on tape, games, internet and email. Small enough that it is easy to travel with and still be useful.

I have found for what I use it for mostly entertainment, reading and e-mail reading. It is great. The screen resolution is great for movies n my tv episodes. I like the apps that are available most are good entertainment and informative. Some people try to use it for a computer, hello people it's not., So they complain about it. Good value, great entertainment, reading books in the dark background with white letters is refreshing as bright backgrounds hurt my eyes, thanks for that. I do have one peeved and that's the voice books, I know you don't have control. But the people who read these books for playback are the most boring ever, other than that it's a great value n most entertaining tablet. I own other tablets Samsung this is better..

Easy to use. Nice background colors for reading. Font size is limited, not as many choices as the Paper White.

Owned everything Apple, desk top, laptop, phone, but when my 5-year-old grandson kept messing up my iPhone when playing games on it, I went shopping for a tablet that he could use. I found the Kindle Fire HDX on sale for a good price and decided to get it for him to use when he was over despite my son and his friends having problems with charging. Company redesigned charger connection and I have had no problems. I had no idea I would like the Kindle as much as I do, so easy to use and enjoyable. I signed up for Unlimited for my grandson and Prime for me and both are worth having.

I have several tablets and ereaders. By far this one is the best! Lightning fast, and small enough to fit in my purse. I absolutely love that the volume gets super loud! I seriously have no complaints!

This is my 5th Kindle and I have loved every one of them! Believe it or not, I still use them all! They are throughout my house and in my purse. This latest one is lighter than the Kindle Fire HD, but not as light as my Kindle reader. Love the new touch screen aspects and ease of use. Wish it was just a bit lighter in weight and that I could organize the books in libraries like my Kindle readers. At first I thought it was not that much better than the Kindle HD, but the more I use it, the more I am happy I bought it. My 3 year old grandson prefers it to his mini Ipad.

Had put off getting a tablet. The Kindle was perfect for games, watching movies or reading. Ideal for travel

Works great my wife uses it every day and up until she drops it it will be very nice
