My 9yr. Old son loves his tablet! Easy for him to work it and the picture is beautiful.

My 8 year old daughter is able to use it to read, play games and listen to music. My only complaint is that it was very complicated and difficult to figure out how to borrow books from the library rather than buying books. I wish there was more of an instruction book that came with it.

I purchased this item as a gift for my wife during the Christmas holiday. She loves it. Other tablets were too expensive and a bit too heavy. The Kindle HDX (7") is easy to hold / carry for long trips or just watching at home. The display is amazing and the sound just as impressive. The size and features available make using the Kindle more convenient than using my laptop. My wife is still figuring out all the neat things the Kindle HDX has to offer, and if we need help there is someone available night or day to assist us. We both are familiar with Android phones and the Kindle is based off of the Android system. We both found it easy to set up and operate. So far very happy with this product.

Tried to go with another tablet that was bigger but immediately returned it and got the Kindle Fire. It is amazing, I can read, surf the internet, play games, and do anything on it. I thought it would be too small but it's the perfect size & fits right in my hand. love, love love it!!!

Have had my Fire about 2 months, so am still learning. Very handy for keeping track of 3 different email boxes because I am essentially signed in to all of them continually. Haven't actually measured the battery charge life, but you should expect to charge it every night if you are a heavy user. Charge time seems to be no more than 3 hours. only beef I might have is the sound level from the speakers. Could be another 3 - 6 db higher.

The Kindle Fire HDX offers you entertainment enjoyment at your fingertips. Great for vacations, entertaining the kids or while killing time sitting in an airport.

We bought this for my 8 year old daughter. It was to be used for learning. There's a wide variety of games and school help. She can watch TV/movies on it while taking lost trips. Loved it so much we bought one for my 5 y/o son.

Easy to carry away from the home. Nice to be able to use Web and fun just passing time with games.

It's great for just playing around with simple apps and Facebook. Also for storing pictures if you want. Haven't tried playing and serious games on it yet so don't know if it can handle that but so far it's great and the kids love it too. It's also very durable so if they drop it no worries!

I debated on buying the Kindle Fire HD or another tablet. This one has been fantastic. Takes care of all my needs and is the perfect size too. I definitely made the right choice!

This is my second Kindle. I had the 2nd version for a few years before wanting am upgrade. It's fast, reliable, and TOUGH. By tough I mean that my boys dropped, banged, threw with no bumps or scratches. Only downfall is I don't like where the USB connector is located

I bought one for my son last Christmas and got my daughter one this year. We use both kindle all the time. Mostly for gaming and social networking for my daughter.I share my son's and use it for everything from paying bills to Facebook to browsing recipes on pinterest. We love it!!

I really like the features on my Kindle Fire HDX. I like the fact that I can play games on this tablet as well as read books on it. I like the front facing camera which allows me to Skype with my mom who is in another state. The only thing I wish I had done differently is to have gotten the one with the bigger screen size.

The kindle fire is a great tool for reading in school. You can listen to books while you follow along with the book. You can even have the words highlighted as you read. Games are a lot of fun on the kindle fire also.

I love my Kindle. I love it so much I boght one for each of my kids. The ONLY negative is it can only run Amazon appa...and not other Android apps. But, Amazon has a ton of apps so it is not such a big deal to me.

This tablet is best considering its price. My experience is wonderful and I love it.

really enjoying my Kindle. Love being able to read a book when I'm stuck somewhere waiting for service. Important to be able to respond to customers via e-mail wherever I am.

I own a paperwhite and an Ipad and I have to say I love my kindle fire hdx. It is fast and very easy to use for watching movies or reading books in amazon. Great purchase!

I got this kindle because my old kindle fire hd was losing battery power. Love that I can put my books in folders. I don't really care for the way the charger goes in at an angle tho. Wish it also had a back camera. The internet connection is much faster than my old kindle so I like that. So far I'm happy with it.

I bought this for my mom who is 75 for Christmas. I was concerned that she would need a tablet that was user friendly...She has had difficulty using it, primarily because she wanted to skype with familly out of state...It doesnt work well on this table for some reason. Having an ipad myself I can say that the sound and picture are probably better, but my ipad is an older model...all in all a very nice tablet for anyone.
