I was hesitant to buy a Kindle because I love reading paper books however, I have found that I absolutely love being able to pick a book and read it within minutes of making my decision. I have also found that I enjoy the other functionality that it offers. I used to travel with my paper book and my laptop wherever I went and I no longer do that. I just slip the Kindle into my purse and am on my way.

My wife wanted something to listen to audiobooks on, this fills the bill perfectly. Ordered online, picked up in the store- all went smoothly. Thanks Best Buy

Took me awhile to decide to upgrade from my original kindle I bought 2 years ago, but so glad I did. Love the speed and the screen is bright and vivid.

She had the original Kindle Fire and liked it but not having the page #s was irritating. We bought for our daughter and she loves it. Especially the page #s.

Well, my new Kindle Fire 7" is okay, but I am disappointed in the design for the text to speech. It is extremely easy to touch the Kindle in the 'wrong' spot and lose your place in the book. Would I buy this model again? Nope. . . I had a Kindle Touch with the text to speech feature & love it. I've worn out two of those old discontinued models & wish I could find a new one like that again.

Great Tablet if you are an Amazon customer. Has all the features of a tablet and a great interface for accessing the Amazon videos, products, and shopping!

What can I say my 5 year old daughter loves her birthday gift!! Really great tablet must have if you have kids!!

Great tablet for the money. The only thing I have found is that the speakers are not as loud as the Fire HD.

I bought two of these, one for each of my children. They were so excited! They are able to play games, watch movies, and read books! I highly recommend!

I've enjoyed my new Kindle Fire HDX so much. It is convenient to check emails and social media. It has been wonderful to download free books from the Ohio Digital Library. I never thought I wanted a tablet and have been contented with my old flip phone, but this little gadget has been wonderful. The display and colors are very sharp and vibrant. Opens up a whole new way to waste too much time!!

The kindle fire hdx offers a lot of value for the money. Reading e-books on it is a pleasure and it's incredibly thin and light weight. Makes for a great gift and for the price it's worth just to have one in addition to whatever you have as a current tablet for the ease to acquire e-books. The Silk browser needs improvements to catch up to Chrome/Safari but I ended up downloading the dolphin.

The size and speed of this device is awesome. It is a great tablet and reader.

So simple to use. From installing apps to watching tv and video to shopping at Amazon, this tablet has it all packaged in a sleek design. It fits comfortably in your hands. This device will quickly replace my wife's Samsung S4 as her favorite device.

Bought this as a gift for my Mom, she loves it and uses it all the time. I also have one for myself and find it to be one of my favorite toys. From tech savvy to casual user, anybody can find tons of uses for this and have a lot of fun in the process

Very good clarity. Fast downloads. Help is always available. It would be nice to have a camera on the back to make picture taking easier. Great for me.

I have purchased every updated Kindle since they were introduced. Each one was an improvement over its predecessor. My latest, the 7" Kindle Fire HDX is light, thin and fast and the OS improvements make it useful for browsing and other media than books. What I am disappointed with is the short battery life. It's noticeable and irritating compared to my mini iPad. There is also light leakage along the edge of the bezel which I find distracting. These two things make an otherwise great eReader only an average reader. Not up to the usual Kindle quality.

Easy to use. Plenty of apps to download and is fun to use. Brilliant colors on the screen, very vibrant when you are reading or playing games.

Very nice. My 9 and 11 year old kids use them. The parent controls took a little work but what does not.
