I set up this up in literally 5 minutes. Simple and clean with bright, clear, great visuals. Many great apps available and a lot of them are free.

Finally can read in low light.

My first Kindle

First off I dislike Windows 8.0 and I never got use to it. Well I saved and stashed away to get my self the Kindle I really wanted. I Bought my self a Kindle Fire HDX and I LOVE it more than my laptop. Other than not having a usb port the Kindle is as equal to my laptop. Yet it wins over in weight to carry around, start up, and clarity on the screen. Another Kindle will replace the laptop when it dies.

So easy to use, perfect for anyone of any age.

My kids are still using the first one. Easy to use and surprisingly durable. Have never had any problems or issues with my kindle. Love it!!

The size is still perfect to carry in a purse but big enough to enjoy a movie on. The home screen is easy to navigate and apps are easy to download. Great bang for the buck!!!

upgrade worth it!

My four year old took over my original kindle, and when I bought the kindle fire hdx 8.9, I gave her my old 7 inch kindle. After a while I noticed my daughter needed more space for her apps but more so for downloaded videos. I also wanted her to have a camera so she would stop stealing my phone and taking 50 pictures at a time. The safeguards are all there on this device. I van block the web so she cant get on it, and a password stops her from making in app purchases. So far we have had no problwms with this kindle and no problems with storage.
