I have a basic Kindle and am very happy about the way I can so easily download library books. However, I wanted a reader that I could see in bed without turning on the lights and decided to get the fire since it has so many other uses--internet and more. I couldn't be more pleased. I am able to read a book on my basic Kindle and at night can pick up on the Fire where I left off . Love it.

I can easily switch from reading a book to playing a game to watching my favorite baseball team. Great apps are available too. Battery charge allows me to use my Kindle for long perids of time.

I love my Kindle for audio books and Amazon Prime movies and shows. I like the size and that it is easy to take from one place to another. The only disappointment is that the accessories that will only truly fit a Kindle are ridiculously priced. A cover for $50.00? Really pretty silly.

This is my 4th kindle and I love it! The picture is much more clear and I like the fact that it is all screen and hardly any border. My previous kindle was the 7" HD and was much bigger compared to this one which has the same size screen. It fits perfectly in my medium sized purse.

I bought both the iPad and the Kindle Fire HDX. Each one has it's own good qualities but for me since I'm a Amazon Prime member I am able to take full advantage of the membership perks. The Kindle Fire HDX was very easy to set up and use. I am keeping both tablets. I prefer the Kindle!

Needs a back camera and better picture quality. Other than that it's a really great product.

I enjoy my kindle mainly for reading but it also gives my joy to use it for more personal use. It's small enough to fit into my purse. All of my favorite apps and games make it so special.

I bought this for my wife for Mother's Day after she accidentally washed her first generation Fire tablet in the washing machine. She loves her new one. It's faster and perfect for her.

I purchased this tablet for use by the entire family. My children use it for reading, and some educational apps. My wife and I use it primarily for reading. Everyone has found it fairly easy to use. Great size, great resolution, nice layout. I do wish the charging was a bit quicker.

Once I registered my new kindle, everything was already on the new kindle. Just had to download the apps. Even all my pictures was there.

Already being an Amazon Prime member this is just the perfect choice to replace my Nook. So glad I did! A lot more options available now, read a book,check email, watch a video, listen to music. The live help option is also a plus!

Best Kindle Fire yet! Better high definition resolution and clarity. It is easier to use than previous generations and has much better camera functionality as well. Definitely improved!

Bought this as a gift for my son. His previous one got stolen and he really loved it. What I liked the most was he spent more time reading books and less time on games than ever before.

My first tablet had been looking at the amazon readers for awhile really happy with this one. It is fast and great to read books on. also tried a few game apps those worked well.

This is a great tablet and is a wonderful value for money product. Perfect for my purpose. Kids gets limited time with apps and videos and unlimited time for book reading, internet access is disabled for kids' profiles. Once the time limits are reached, it locks the features...

they really wanted one and like it a lot. like that you can read even in dark camping

After having a basic Kindle this upgrade was the best choice for me. It has all the apps and feature I need for use when on the road.

The tablet is easy to use, easy to learn and has a good quality screen. Comparable to the iPad unless you're a die hard apple person.
