If you love Amazon you'll love the content experience that the Fire HDX gives you; however, if you're used to getting content from various sources (i.e. Barnes & Noble, Google Play, etc.) you won't find it here. If you love animated page turns when reading ebooks, you won't find that here either. However, you will find advertisements periodically coming at you unless you pay to opt out of them. All in all, it's a beautiful and great machine with some huge let downs that doesn't allow me to give it a 5.

So easy to use! My 5 year old niece skypes with her grandmother while using the Kindle Fire.

The Kindle Fire HDX is great! I love that it's easy to use, has great apps available from the Amazon store, and movies look great.

Received as Christmas gift, have really enjoyed the excellent graphics and great sound quality, as well as the large variety of apps.

Perhaps not as good as the I-Pad or the Samsung but unbeatable for the price and performance. I would strongly recommend this table.

We originally started out with a different tablet/e-reader, and was not impressed. Reading reviews on the Kindle Fire as well as speaking to a friend that had recently purchased one; gave us a good feeling to give the Kindle Fire a try. Out of the box the setup only took moments and was easy to go through. Further exploring it's features my wife had found it to be the most pleasant experience with any electronic device she has used to this point. Happy wife, happy life! Highly recommended.

It's a kindle fire. Works fine but it's not an iPad.

I have previously owned the original Kindle and became a believer in E readers. The Kindle Fire HDX is harder to read off of but not annoying or a problem. However the touch screen and dictionary / translation mode is worth the back lit screen. I enjoy reading from it. Where it really shines is streaming videos. It's great no need for further explanation. My friend is "Apple for life" nothing compares. He watched 30 seconds of Netflix on my HDX and bought one the next day. For the price you can not go wrong.

All around great buy! So much easier to see and use than my small phone screen. Great WiFi usage, as good as a laptop. I love it!!

Had fire hd that just died one day. My husband gave me the hdx for Christmas. It's fine but I just don't think it was worth the extra $100 as compared to the fire hd. However I do appreciate the lighter weight.

I was looking for something between a laptop and my smart phone. The Ipads were too expensive,and I didn't want any thing that was cheaply made,so I chose this Kindle Fire HDX. I'VE used it for about a month with no problems. There are enough apps available to satisfy anyone. My kids love playing with the game apps.that can be downloaded.

It is a perfect size, it has a amazing screen and it has surround sound that is awesome!

This is a great tablet for the price compared to many of the other tablets on the market. It does not have as many functions as a Samsung or Apple tablet, but it is great for reading and watching movies.

USED PRIMARILY AS A READER AND WORKS PERFECT FOR THAT. GREAT FOR SOME GAMES AND APPS TO KEEP ME BUSY DURING WAITING SITUATIONS.

I had a Kindle HD, Kindle HDX is a lot faster and I like much more than the Kindle HD.

Kindle Fire HDX is great! The FreeTime is genius and let s us monitor how our daughter uses the tablet. When she reaches her requirements we set she unlocks app, and video time. Only 2 things I wish it would let you unlock as well are the camera, and maybe limited internet use. We let her use it to research words or projects, but have to completely unlock the tablet in order for her to do this. It would be a nice function to be able to keep it in Freetime and unlock the web for educational sites. Otherwise this is a great product and great introduction to the tablet world.
