This was on sale and seemed to have good features for a reasonable price. I'm very glad I purchased the kindle fire HDX. The screen is very responsive and looks great. I streamed "The Avengers" through Netflix on it and was impressed with the hd quality. I would recommend this over the much overpriced iPad mini.

Kindle HDX Review

I read ebooks, with this model I do not need extra light to be able to read it in a darkened area. It is also readable in direct sunlight. Connecting to my WiFi or any other WiFi system is very easy. Downloading is also very easy. I like the ability to be able to select between the cloud or the device.

Just what I was looking for

It was quite rudimentary, and the Kindle Fire HDX 7 is a tremendous upgrade for me in terms of look, feel, and added features. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

He is not tech savvy at all but I insisted that he do everything himself. He loves the "Mayday" button! It has really helped him a lot (and saved me). He loves his Kindle Fire HDX and spends hours while recovering from back surgery. I couldn't pry it out of his hands if I tried! Do recommend a stylus, though.

More Cool features in the Fire HDX
