I had an original Kindle and this is sooo much nicer! Love the screen and ease of use!

I have vision problems so the large print is great for me. I like being able to have black background with white print when reading in bed at night. It's easier on my eyes.

Good for the price. Can play all the TV apps, and good for reading books.

I bought this new Kindle for my wife to replace an old one. Many of the features are the same as my Fire, but there are enough differences that a manual would be helpful. Rather than both of us pushing buttons to find out what they do, some instruction is needed.

Its great my son likes it alot , clear picture and lots of cool apps to choose from.

This is my second Kindle Fire, the other is a 1st generation model. The screen is so clear & fast. I have a little trouble deleting my emails on my server from the Kindle which wasn't a problem with the 1st generation one. I still have to read the tutorial so that I can take advantage of all the features.

The first one I got was dead right out of the box, but Best Buy has no question to exchange it for me, so 5 star for Best Buy . I have to see if the second one will last and update later.

I love it--this was an upgrade from an original kindle and I like it much more.

Seems like a great piece however since my home is hard-wired to the internet and we do not have wi-fi I was not able to connect to the internet using this device so I had to return it.

My last kindle was the same version as this HDX. They are pretty much the same, but this one has some quirks that my last one didn't have. Sometimes as I am swiping the screen will flicker. Also it has annoying habit of occasionally putting itself to sleep while I'm using it. Other than that it's pretty much the same and was well worth the sale price I got it for.

The Kindle Fire HDX is a great tablet for a lower price than a ipad. I love it.

When considering a tablet or ereader kindle is the way to go! We have an older one as well and have had some issues with it, although when I need to discuss it with customer service i just go online and input my phone number and they call me when someone is available which is right away! Then, they are very willing to help and do whatever necessary to make it right for the customer!
