started w/the first Kindle really like the new one

I use it for reading, emails, games and much more. I think the Kindle hdx is a better tablet to start with than a iPad. I am still getting the hang of using the camera. That is the only part that I am not thrilled about.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love it.. its my second Kindle thus far.. only because my son accidently broke the first one. but I used the insurance and got another one.. great people helped us replace the broken one and we were back to using the kindle in a few hours.(after charging of course). I would recommend it to anyone with toddlers.

I bought this to replace an older kindle and have been very impressed with it. I love everything about it and after a month I still have no complaints.

Great introduction to portable technology!

Once he mastered how to purchase and download books, he tackled connecting to his local library to borrow books electronically as well. Consequently, he has no need to drive in order to get a new book and no shortage of reading materials.

There is an amazing amount of free books that can be downloaded for Kindle each day, and that is something that I didn't expect. It has just added to my fun! I also use my HDX for games and Facebook.
