overall it is a great and terrific tool for kids and adults for school and business.you can do it all messaging ,facebook, homework.gaming, anything you want.what they need to do is sell a bundle package that include accessories and a cover case.that would help it sell even more.

This is a great product. Has everything you need for a tablet. Has great apps that you can get from Amazion. The only problem I had was clearing the web browser of history.

Im a simple person who was looking for a device to check email and browse while traveling. I hate apple products. Works Awesome for the simple person, not on business. Great graphics and a good deal for the money.

Great product! However, if you plan on buying screen protectors or cases for it, make sure the product states that it's for Kindle HDX. I had bought a case & screen protector for a regular 7" Kindle; however, the screen protector & case were both too big for the 7" Kindle HDX.

I think this is a great product. But the setup process involves becoming an Amazon member a paid subscription service. So please read before you sign up with out knowing.

This was my first major purchase of new technology in several years and I just love it. Before getting this Kindle I had forgotten how much I love to read books and I've been reading every since I've got this. It's opened up whole new worlds for me to venture into!!! Yay!!!

I had a fire before this and was totally happy except I didn't know how to save pictures off Facebook. I used the May day button and learned how to use power button and volume down button together to screenshot.

you should have included a hard copy of a user manual with purchase.other than that I am well satisfied. Also the mayday feature is outstanding. It is amazing what this can do. it is like a little computer. I like how fast the books download. The price is reasonable too.

This is so much better than the Nook. It is very useful for reading books as well as Internet access. There are countless applications available as well. The ads are a little annoying but not enough to purchase the more expensive version through Amazon without ads.

This tablet is just what I was looking for. I recently did some traveling and easily carried this in my purse. I had what I needed - books, access to e-mail and internet. I had people tell me to get the larger version, but I think this size is just perfect for my needs.

I find that the kindle fire is pretty much as successful as my ipad2 does not have all of the ipads functionality but still very useful as a kindle reader plus other functionality all rolled into 1.

Fit well, sound good, like wireless on cable. Seem to be well built not flimsy

I should have purchased the Kindle HDX 7 sooner. I did purchase it to replace my old Kindle which is still fine but I wanted the tablet function as well as the download/read function of my old Kindle. Now I use it in lieu of my Acer and older model Kindle.

Wish it had a front and back camera. It is fast with games and internet.

Kindle has outdone themselves. I also have an I pad which I love but the picture is great on the Kindle.

I think it is a great competitor for the iPad, especially for the price!

It is an excellent tablet to look at videos and view Google plus. Certain non Android programs do not run easily. For movie and video viewing it is great.

My new Kindle Fire HD is awesome. I will be trading my old Kindle back to best buy as soon as I am sure my pics and apps will be sent to the cloud and retrievable by my new Kindle Fire HD. Thank you Best Buy for helping me with my purchase.

bought this for my wife at Christmas, she uses it daily. the amount of information in the palm of your hand is increidable. the clearity of the picture is truely amazing. i also bought the screen protector and the stylus. the only thing i'm not sure of is the front facing camera. seems hard to center picture, but havent really sat down and played with it yet.
