not as good as the original kindle fire.

Which means I had to get a new case (which is hard to find for the HDX). you have to push the on/off button really hard to get it ot go off/on. Also - my biggest issue is that the screen does not switch its position when you move the kindle. It only has one position (the kindle fire screen flipped to accommodate whatever way you happened to be holding it).
