Simple and easy to use

It comes with a bar code on the back of the direction booklet, so be sure not to discard prematurely. You also need to hold your phone back at a bit of a distance for the code to clear up on your display screen before it works.

I’ve used them for my reef tank to turn on and off my equipments remotely or with voice through my echo dot. Also with my Christmas tree and lights.

Simple integration if you're in the Alexa system

It's Amazon's version of the same plug you can get anywhere. The benefits are that you likely already have the Alexa app, and you don't need to create more logins for other cloud services. It does what it says quickly and easily.

So that along with our echo dot we can tell alexa to turn the light off and on without ever getting out of our chair. Guess that could be called lazy but for two senior adults with health issues it is FANTASTIC!
