Purchased this for my Christmas Tree and just by saying "Alexa, Merry Christmas" I can turn on the tree lights without having to reach the outlet make life easier. Works wonderful with Alexa, but unfortunately it doesnt work with Google Hub or Siri. Wish they include those features as well. But if you are completely in the Amazon eco-system, that this is a good add-on device.

There's not a lot to compare with these, but I like that it is well made and fits tightly to the wall. This one has not gotten really warm to the touch even after being plugged in for long periods of time.

Bought this for my mother who is in her seventies. We use it for her bedroom light. Now she doesn’t have to fumble in the dark to try and find her light. She uses the app on her phone or her echo dot to turn it on/off. She loves it.

I got two of these on black Friday with echo dots and they have been amazing in terms of practicality. They work every time and they can be used for a range of devices. Start with one and you will soon cover your home with them.

Great cost effective additions to any smart home, or any home with an alexa capable device (including just a phone with an alexa app on it). Very handy for decorative lights and things like that.

I had previously purchased a tp-link by Kasa and found it much easier to set the timer Scheduling for the plug than I found with the Amazon plug. I finally figured it out but it took a long time and could not find instructions in turning plug on and off at scheduled time. Other than that it works well for voice command.

I'm my research this is the most affordable smart switch that uses Alexa available.

With a little help from the instructions it was up and working with in 5 minutes. iit turns on and off the hot water recirculator, so says wear on the pump and saves electricity
