I've had several of this plug around the house and they all work great. My only gripe is it will only work on echo system wish they will let it work with other home automation system. I just use alexa routines to make it work with other home automation devices outside Echo system but is very limited to some. However, it works for me and I got them for cheap.

I got this for my dad's echo show 5 to avoid the hassle of an intermediary app. It works well, but I don't understand why they are so expensive. One Amazon plug costs the same as 4 Chinese brand plugs. I think even wemo plugs cost much less. Last Christmas the echo dot was about $29 so only $5 more than the plug. So I won't be using these unless they are for expensive equipment. Too bad.

As expected, this thing performs! I have deliberately held out on other WiFi plugs because of app requirements and overall confusion/ease-of-use concerns, an Amazon-branded entry was just what I was waiting for. Easy setup in Alexa app, I was configured in no time, and now enjoy yelling at my lamp. Watch for this item drop to as low as $5 extra in bundle situations. A wise no-frills choice for your smart home.

These plugs are fantastic. I have only had one issue with them when setting up my new eero Pro 6 system but I realized it wasn't the plug or the router, it was Amazon's server. If you are concerned about these plugs being connected to Amazon then make sure you find Zigbee or Zwave plugs with a hub because almost all wifi devices rely on an external server.

I got this for just $5 when I bought it along with my Echo 3rd Gen. It was great during Christmas to connect the Christmas tree and a few other Christmas Lights in the living room. I could turn it off and on with a voice command. I also have another that is connected to my living room lamp. I have both of them turn off or on with my "good morning" and "good night" routines in Alexa.

Easy to sync to wifi/alexa using the alexa app. Took off one star bc it is a little big. I have it on a power strip and it slightly blocks the bottom hole of the plug above it.

The plug is very helpful and works seamlessly with Alexa, however, depending on your outlets or extension cord it will take up at least two plug spaces making one space useless.

So easy to setup using the Alexa App! Works like charm. Have two now!
