Easy to set up and add voice control to any outlet.

I purchased a few of these plugs to make it easier to turn on and off my Christmas tree and Christmas village lights bc the outlets they plug into are hard to reach. These made it so much easier to turn everything on and off with Alexa instead of trying to get behind the tree and entertainment center every time I wanted to turn on and off the lights each night.

Works perfectly fine. Easy to setup. Worth every penny.

Got it on sale for $5 so definitely worth it. Works well with Alexa. You can renaming the plug to different names also -- e.g. calling it "light" to turn of the light.

I have used a few different Smart plugs and the Amazon is the best and easiest to go with Alexa. Others are ok but you have to have seperate apps to set them up and then link them to Alexa. So now I have a few apps on my phone for the sole purpose of setting up a plug. I never use them again as I use the Alexa app. Not sure if I can uninstall those other apps after I set up the plugs.

Very easy to use just plug in and connect with my Alexa and then program. After that set up a command and presto it works without any problems. I just say Alexa turn off light and it turns off. If you have multiple devices it hook up with them to form a network as well if you have multiple plugs you can assign them to different devices and rooms

I absolutely love the ease of this plug. I have some 3rd party other brands and yeah they work fine but be prepared to spend a good 1-2 hours to get them connected. This one was a dream. Just plug in and bam... shows up on your alexa app and done. Definitely worth the cost to use the Amazon brand when it comes to the accessories such as these. You’ll thank yourself trust me.

Personally I run Echo, Google, and Samsung Home Automation tools in my home, but grabbed a couple of these for use in my mother's house where I keep it simple with a purely Amazon Echo environment. Opening them up, setting them up with the echo app and assigning the room was a snap. It's a simple tool with a simple purpose, turn on/off the outlet (for this case lamps) in the room on demand. Renaming the device was a little bit of a hassle but don't forget to tie it to a room and a device so you can just say to 'Turn on the living room' or 'turn off the living room' and the items will all react.

I love this smart plug. I am always forgetting to turn off lights and my husband goes crazy. With this plug I simply turn on that specific light and wham-o! he can turn it off and I don't get in trouble. In all seriousness, this is a basic smart plug. It doesn't have some of the bells and whistles some others do and it is only compatible with Alexa, but, it is relatively small and serves my needs well.

The price always baffles me whenever I need to purchase another plug for a different device around the house, but they are so worth it. There's no hassle or frusteration because it automatically connects to your Alexa account - unlike off brand plugs, where you have to download a different app and make sure you are on 2.4 wifi.

So, this was bought on a whim. I'm invested in the Alexa based ecosystem, so why not. Did I need it...no. Am I glad I have it now...yes. No longer do I have to worry about my daughter leaving her bedroom fairy lights or {insert any other decorative light my kids have in their rooms here} on all day. Would I have bought this were it not on sale...probably not. But, I'm glad it was and that I did.
