I went to the store so I can buy this plug so I can control an outlet with my Alexa

I bought this because of a promotion where you could get this for $5 when ordering through Alexa. It works fine for the most part, but the fact is that anytime it loses power (unplugging or power outage), I have to completely set it up again in the Alexa app. Somehow loss of power makes it forget how to connect to our Wifi or something. This could be due to our specific Wifi setup. I'm using the Eero system, and maybe this plug doesn't connect correctly to a mesh network. But in any case, I do not have this same problem with the three Kasa plugs that I use with Alexa.

This products is good to use where something can be plugged into a socket so you don't have to buy the bulbs

This is a great plug to protect your devices especially living where there are a lot of storms.

I have this plug into my lamp and have had no issues when to Alexa to turn it on or off.

Worked at first, then didn’t. Tried all the troubleshooting, but wouldn’t work. Said unresponsive and couldn’t connect to server. Tried reconnecting again, and finally worked. We’ll see how long it works for now. Not sure I’d recommend to a friend. Have two other plugs that are a different brand and haven’t had an issue like this.
