I thought I would utilize this outlet more than I have. Great deal but I'm not as savvy as I thought I was going through the trouble to utilize the smart home products.

The plug works as advertised but I'm disappointed that it does not have a built in easy to use timer and schedulers. Smart plugs must have easy to use schedulers and timers in my opinion

If it wasn't offered as a discount through amazon, I would not have bought. It only works in the amazon ecosystem. If you want something that "plays well with others', keep looking.

I was expecting it to for google too but it works only for amazon Alexa. Overall all a great product. But I would prefer it to work with all the voice services.

Order Amazon 2 plugs online for delivery. I got 1 delivered. I went to purchase other at store. Although on the shelf, they could not sell it to me until the next day. Some Amazon requirement. They offered to put the 2 aside for me to purchase the next day. Show up next day to purchase. It took forever for them to find where they had been put away for me. What a fiasco.

It's a okay smart plug. It doesn't do much besides providing protection and to plug in for power. Nothing special about it. Quite expensive just for a power plug.

This is just a typical Wi-Fi plug to control with your smart home. Most of my home is connected so I haven't found a proper use for this, but it was part of a sale promo package.

I have used the iHome versions which are much better because they work with Apple Home Kit. The plug only works with Alexa and the name is long.

Seems overpriced compared to TP Link plugs. I already had several TP Link plugs, so it just made sense to stick with them. Looks the same, but no vacation mode. That's a handy feature.

I cannot give a review on this product because I have not had time to use it but I am sure it will work for the purpose I bought it for once I set it up.

This was a "bonus" for a purchase of over a $100.00. It is a fun thing to have as a novelty but not something I would buy out of need.

Everything looks cool except that spec only states 120v ... So doesn't work globally. For such a device, global standard is a must.

Mediocre smart plug. They will randomly stop responding at times. Pretty normal Alexa stuff where she doesn’t listen.

It is a good product but the only bad thing is you can only plug one other outlet to is. Overall I enjoyed having this.

I bought the Amazon smart plug in March 2019 and it already stopped working. Did all the usual things: tried another outlet; rebooted: paired and unpaired the light it was set to on; resetablished the connection with the Alexa app, etc. Nothing worked. Finally, I bought a Gosund at one-third the price on Amazon. It worked.

I bought this after owning a TP-Link smart plug and a generic set of 4 smart plugs that used the smart life app, both worked with Alexa to turn off and on. I expected a superior experience with this Amazon brand plug, especially for the price. However this plug was harder to set up a schedule with, the Amazon app was decidedly more difficult to use for scheduling, perhaps because the Alexa app does a lot more, the other smart plug apps were direct and to the point to make a schedule. A major drawback was that I had to type in the verbal command to turn on the device like “Alexa, turn on kids lamp” and set the time, tedious. After buying 3 of these I am going back to the simpler and much cheaper plugs available on Amazon. I am looking at the BN-LINK that I can get a 4 pack of on Amazon for less than one of these and it gets 4.5 stars with 11,600 reviews. (I wish Best Buy sold these but they often fall short on low priced tech like this, and Amazon has pages of options).

It is behind the couch and my end table is plugged into it for charging my cell/laptop and turning on an accent lamp. It works as expected.

Use a few of these around the house daily with usually no problems. Every now and then though, it will not respond and turn on/off the lights.

For the first time I've having to give a rating less then 5 stars to an amazon product. The short version is that after several tries I could not figure out how to program the plug to turn a lamp on an off at designated times. Sounds silly, but that's what happened. Made the 90 mile round trip to Best Buy and picked up another brand.

product only allows a lamp to turn power on/off. not a real big deal, clap on, clap off does the same thing and it's from a way long time ago
