I work second shift and have long commutes. I have the plug as for my living room light. All I have to do is when I come into my house in early am. Is say alexia turn on first light. Or even use my alexia app and turn on light with my app for my doggy when it starts getting dark outside. I want to purchase some more. Would be great for my Christmas tree.

I love this plug. I use it for my lamp in my bedroom. I really hated to have to get up to turn off the lights when I would start to fall asleep. Now with the plug AND buying the ECHO dot I just ask Alexa to turn of the lights. I want to buy multiple plugs with their echo dots for each room so I can just ask Alexa to turn on and off things.

I used these smart plugs for items that can’t be made smart!! I first used it to have Alexa turn off and on our Christmas tree! Soon I added one to turn off and on a digital photo album! Things you wouldn’t think you needed on or off suddenly are at your Beck and call! Awesome

I got this for $5 with an Echo Dot purchase. I’m not sure I would pay the full retail price. But it does allow an item like a lamp, fan or Christmas tree to be turned on and off with Alexa. It does work great. It was easy to add to Alexa. But if you purchase two at the regular price, you may be better getting a light system like Hue for more features.

Super easy to set up! Good instructions to steer you along. Makes turning on and off of devices so much more convenient. Have this attached to my lamp in my living room so if I come in at night I just tell Alexa to turn on living room light and don't have to worry about coming into dark house.

When it comes to smart plugs if you have the Amazon echo I would hide the recommend using this go I would hide the recommended using this smart plug. It is. It is very simple to connect at least in comparison at least in comparison to the others I've bought online is lime.

great for the simple on and off routines and less expensive

No complaints here. We've only used it during Christmas, so Alexa can turn our tree on and off. Not really sure what else I'd use it for besides lighting. Got this for $5 with a purchase of an Alexa, so watch out for these kinds of deals :) I probably wouldn't buy it for regular price, because I'm not that lazy.
