The wifi signal drops periodically, so even using Amazon w/Amazon it's a crap shoot. I have 3 echo dot 3's, 1 dot clock and 3 globes and they all work very well with Geeni plugs and others. JCP has good prices if you need more than one.

Can't even connect to Alexa App
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this plug with my new echo dot and was extremely excited to try it after seeing the positive reviews on here. However, after plugging it it, my phone or my alexa could not find the plug, I tried troubleshooting every different way and the plug just wouldn't connect. Not even worth paying the 5$ return. Dissapointed
