This is so great. I got a couple to use around the house. I can turn on and off lights when I am not home, turn the fan on from across the room or when I’m in bed reading and then too tired to get up to turn the lifted off. It’s very easy to set up and control either through the echo or the app on my phone.

I have many smart plugs around but many are 10 amp models and I have already suffered (twice) having my wife plug the Dyson animal into power strips on work tables that only had the 10 amp units instead of the 15 amp. That was the end of them! Setup was easy the peace of mind that they will survive an animal attack is great.

these smart plugs have added a lot of fun to the day to day routine of turning on and off lights in the house. Hooked up to Alexa, i can turn on and off lights in any part of the house from anywhere in the house. I can also double check on my family to make sure they turned everything off remotely. This was purchased to compliment an Echo given as a gift. My friend currently has a lamp plugged into it. Commands are able to be given to the Echo and the Smart Plug responds. The only thing I did not like was that there was a delay in the shipping and it arrived after Christmas. Other than that, I regret not buying more of them.

Great smart plug especially when you can purchase when on sale. Easiest smart plug that I've set up with amazon alexa. No bridge or anything required just plus into standard outlet. Haven't had and drop out or connection issues as long as your internet and wifi are up and running good.

My husband is sight impaired. We have it plugged in The living room For the side table lamp and he can walk out of the room with the light on and then tell Alexa to shut the light off when he exits the room at the same going back into the room it is a real blessing no more living lamps Left on

This little seemingly simple device has made my every day life easier. I plan on getting a few more. For 15 bucks it makes the old clapper (if you are old enough to remember those) look archaic and the hand clap ridiculously primitive. LOL! Hello Alexa is much better!!!

This unit is bulky and I wish it was a smaller adapter but it does the job and works well. Now I can turn off the lights when I'm already in bed.

We bought this smart plug when we got our Alexa Eco PLus. Easy set up. So far we are just using it to turn on a lamp but the Amazon Smart Plug could be used for a lot of different things... We tell Alexa to turn plug on and the plug turns on. Then when we say Alexa turn plug off the Amazon Smart Plug turns off... That simple...
