I have three of these and two Wemo plugs. These by far are easier to set up when you have multiple units. The first Wemo was set up in 5 minutes while my second too two hours of work arounds to get running. Each one of the Amazon plugs was up in less than 5 minutes each. Highly recommend...

Do you use Christmas lights? You need this Amazon smart plug. Connect with Alexa (even if its just the app on your phone) and setup a smart plug group and a scheduled routine to turn your holiday lights on and off. Save your sanity and your wallet (I'm a Duke Energy customer).

Love this item, looking around the house to see if we " need " another one. I just ask to turn the light on and it's on. Kind of like the old clapper, but so much easier. My wife's voice is soft, so she might to have to ask twice, but I'm great with it. What next ??? Coffee pot, TV, light in the guest room : )

Bought this thinking I could integrate my outdoor lights with my Google Home but DUH it's an Amazon product that exclusively works with Amazon, and nothing else. Besides it not working with my house system, it was still a great quality product for a pretty good price. There are cheaper options out there, but this one is solid, reliable, and easy to set up... with the appropriate peripheries. 3 stars because of its limitations.

I have a power strip plugged into this device. That power strip has my longarm overhead lights and my ironing station lights plugged into it. Now, when I think I’m only going downstairs for a minute and find it’s bedtime and the lights upstairs are still in, I just tell Alexa to turn the upstairs off and the lights go out.

I absolutely LOVE these smart plugs! I'm able to turn my lamps off and on with ease! It's a safety issue also, I can turn on my bedroom lamps while heading to that room! Then turn off the lamps in my living room that I just came from! Now I can turn on my tv without having to hunt the remote!!

I buy these plugs whenever I find a great deal on them because I’m constantly changing things in my house to automatically turn on/off. These are awesome smart plugs. Only downside is they’re a little wide for certain areas, but I have different kinds so it’s easy enough to just use a different one.

I have several of these smart plugs since I use Echo Shows and Dots around the house since the plugs work great with the Alexa app. When my internet acts up the plugs can lose connection but a simple reset fixes them. The only downside is that setting them in the app is a little confusing at first but once you've set one up, the rest are easy to do. Overall I am pleased with these and usually pick them up on sale which makes them an even better value.

Been great so far. Easy set up and works great. I would look for a deal to buy a Dot or something along with it to get it cheaper. I took advantage of a black Friday deal getting the 3rd gen and the outlet for $29. I think the outlets sells for $25. I wouldn't pay that for it, but it was certainly worth $5 as an add on.

Amazon simplified the tedious process of setting up plugs. I have tried many different brands of smart plugs, however Amazon’s smart plug is just much more reliable and simpler to use. I would definitely recommend this product if you already have an Alexa product.

This is one of my favorite Amazon devices I own. I paired it up with a standing lamp. All I have to say when I walk in the door is "Alexa, turn on the plug", and my lights are on. This really helps at night before going to sleep or in the morning when it's time to wake up and it's still dark.

Excellent connection with Alexa. The price is higher than others I've bought, but so far I have not had to reset this item any as I have with other brands. The size needs to be a little smaller for using with an adaper in the same outlet or with a surge protector.
