So nice. And it was easy to setup. I connected it to my Christmas tree, renamed it as such in the Alexa app, and it works great. When the Christmas tree goes back up I'll just rename it and use it somewhere else. Definitely would buy again (in fact I did!).

Amazon's devices are great and easy to use for a blind individual like me. At first, the item's packaging seemed broken because it was the last Amazon Smart Plug in the store, but the staff made sure that the product itself worked before selling it to me.

Note much to say here. They do as advertised. Easy to use, easy to setup. The Alexa app makes setup and use a breeze. These should really be paired with an Alexa device. It's a great feeling when you can use voice commends to turn on and off.

This item was a reduced price when buying the Echo and the Echo Dot. It is helpful as I can control a set of lights by voice. Don't have to stretch for light switches on the lamps--just ask Alexis to turn on plug or turn off. As I learn more of the possible uses I can see this being even more helpful.

My son bought this for me this year so we could plug the Christmas tree into it and use our Echo to turn on and off the light on the tree. We also have one on a lamp so that when someone returns to a dark home with arms full they can just have Alexa turn on the lamp with a few words. Very usually item.

I bought another brand and it was so hard to set up, did everything right, still didn’t work, sent it back,... So I bought this one because it works with Alexa and it was so easy to use, it’s been great. I actually bought a second one because it was so easy to use

I have an Amazon Echo at home and this plug was really easy to set up and work with it. Most third party smart plugs are also pretty easy to set up, but the advantage of the amazon plug is that it doesn't require downloading a separate app.

Took some getting used to but works great....easy to work from the app and was glad to get this as a bonus with my purchase. My day is never the same so it's good to know I can turn on a few lights or the tv so it's not pitch black I get home.

This product is great! Easy to set up and install. Once you get it connected all you need to say is turn on/off & even have the option to make these changes right from your handheld device through the Alexa app. I have these plugs set up all over the house.

This thing is great for automating your house using Alexa (Amazon Echo). Very easy to setup and just say the name you name it and turn it on and off with ease. Much better than the old "Clap On, Clap Off" of the old days. Consider this due to price and ease of use and set up.

This was super easy to set up and we haven’t had any connectivity issues after using it for just under a month now. I like how it can be plugged in and is small enough that it doesn’t cover the other outlet as well. If you use Amazon Echo this is a great item to have with it!

The amazon smart plug is so easy to set up. You need to have a amazon echo to have it work I plug in my lights and it is good when you wake in the middle of the night and don’t have to fumble for the light switch. I also used it to turn my Christmas tree lights on and off.

Set up easy... functionality totally dependent on WiFi. If WiFi goes down so does the plugs.

Awesome capability to control devices through my Alexa app. I don't know why I waited so long to try one of these. Perfect for controlling timer cycles on a lamp. This is going to the first of several Smart Plugs for me. Top quality from the Amazon brand.

I needed to replace a older smart power strip from Wink that controlled my printer so I decided to go with this Amazon switch. It was super easy to setup and add to my existing home automaton. I like the fact that it's smaller than my other Wemo switches, too!

Plugged this into an available outlet, plugged lamp into this device, opened Amazon Alexa app on a cell phone and had the light turning on and off utilizing Alexa commands within 5 minutes.

I've been hesitant to buy any more "smart" devices to make my family even more lazy. But now I don't know why I've gone so long without these...makes turning off lights before bed so convenient especially when you've hit that sweet spot right before you doze off.

I bought three Amazon smart plugs at the same time. They were easy to set up the first time and work really well. Later, when I was reconfiguring my network, I couldn't remember how to set them up and had to dig up the instructions (you have to take a picture of the bar code on the back side--from there it's easy). They are limited in that there is no sunrise or sunset option for on/off controls. I hope such is provided in an Alexa improvement someday since other smart plugs are so capable.

“Alexa, turn off “____insert device name___” haha man. Yeah. Whatever you plug into it can be turned off with your phone or Alexa.
