Add this device to any plug and it can be turned on or off with voice commands from Alexa. When my son is video gaming with his headset on and we need him to stop, we tell Alexa to turn on a light connected to this plug so he knows it’s time to quit. This save a walk to the basement.

This is a nice addition to be able to add a non smart home item to your smart home set up like a fan or lamp (that does not already have a smart bulb). The size seems pretty standard for smart plugs but I can't wait for them to be refined and get smaller!

Even though i have other brand smart plugs. I want to give a try with amazon smart plug so i can control using Alexa. Works great and setting up sooo easy than other products. all finds these without any effort unlike other brand plugs.

Overall fairly easy to set up and use. I just wish that a dropped wi-fi connection didn't disable it's use when you're ready to go to bed and tell Alexa to turn off the lights and it can't. Kind of defeats the purpose of having it.

This plug was easy set up work well with my echo and my show for the price it cant be bet for starting into the smart world. I have Tp link plugs too and they were$$$ and this one works as good if not better I would recommended these to anyone with confidence

This little guy has saved my rear plenty of times! I leave my fur son home when I’m at work and I’m able to turn the light on for him while I’m away! Works great from the mobile app and also by voice command! Only thing is, I need to order more!

Bought a couple of these for some lamps in my house. They work great and are super easy to setup. Sure you can get some cheaper ones but the ease of setup is worth the extra few dollars. You can also control everything through one app vs a different app for every device

I got this at a discount when I bought an echo dot, so I wasn’t really sure what I’d use it for (too good of a price to pass up :) ). I ended up using it for a lamp in my room, and I actually use it more than I thought I would. I like it, and I’ll probably buy more in the future.

Used this to plug a lamp into to have a "smart light" option until I can afford to expand my Philip's hue collection. Not obtrusive of the other socket on the outlet which some of the older style smart plugs were. Works great and allows my kids to walk into a lit room :-)

This is one of the best purchases I have made. Using these plugs I am able to turn my lights on in the house before I arrive home. Another big plus was being able to turn the Christmas tree lights on and off with a simple command!

Worked perfectly out of the box. Amazons setup can sometimes be tricky, but this one worked great. Be sure to place it so you can get to it as occasionally these need to be reset. It is pricy compared to some off brands.

I love these smart plugs. We are starting to use them for lots of applications. We use them to create a schedule for when the kids are allowed to watch tv - can change it day-by-day and override when they are out of school. A great product and pretty simple to use.

Set up was a breeze. Only downside you have to connect to 2.4GHz WiFi signal on your smartphone to set it up. Once set up you can switch to 5GHz signal. The device only functions on 2.4GHz. Other than that, simple to use and access even if away from home.

I bought this to use with my Alexa echo dot to turn on my TV. It works great, but for some reason when my tv turns on, it does not have a volume. I'm still trying to figure out what's wrong. Oh well, atleast it was great at turning on my tv with just my voice command.

If you use Amazon home products, do NOT bother with any other brand. I have been there, done that trying to save a few dollars. I may have saved money, but not my time! This plug sets up super simply using the Alexa app. Don't overthink - BUY!

We bought this plug to turn our Christmas tree lights on and off conveniently and it did not disappoint. It was easy to set up on the Alexa app. Since Christmas, we have kept it to turn on and off a living room light and are enjoying using it for that.

Works perfectly with Alexa and easy to setup. I use my plug to make an old lamp that was my grandmas a smart lamp. Just say "Alexa, turn off lamp".. My second one i have set to turn off my fish tanks filters, which are noisy, when i watch a movie.

I love these things. Never have used them before, but it sure is easier than having smart lights all over the house sometimes. Some places I can't put my smart lights, but I can have a smart plug to turn things off and on when I want to.

I bought several of these to control key lights throughout the house so that I can turn them on from either my phone or my bedroom. They work as advertised and took less than five minutes each to set up.

Alexa turn on Christmas tree. I got this last year for free. Great price! I only use it’s one month a year though to turn on and off my xmas tree. It was really nice to b able to turn it off in my bedroom when I was sleeping and not have to leave the room to do so.
