These things work great. They can be secured easily with a little extra work (use an old router to create a network just for smart devices, and then they will have no access to your "real" network).

Originally plugged this in to turn on Christmas tree lights. Loved that didn't have to crawl on the floor to turn them on! LoL! Now it's nice to have Alexa turn on a light when I walk in the room.

I love these. I connect my indoor Christmas tree to it and love that I can tell Alexa to turn it on or off and not have to duck under the tree to reach the outlet plug every time

I bought this to selectively be able to shut things off in my house. I have outlets in every room that are unfortunately set up to have the top outlet power on/off when the main switch is flipped. I hoped this device would allow me to just leave the switch in the ON position and tell Alexa what to turn on or off. While the device was easily added to Alexa app, it repeatedly loses connection to the wifi network. This causes the device to not respond even if WiFi signal is working fine. Only way to get it to work again, is to power off the outlet or unplug device and wait a bit before restoring the power to it. Not a big inconvenience, but it can be a nuisance when you are counting on it work. I had hoped it would allow me to reliably on lights in my home from the app on my cell phone so that I wouldn’t have to fumble around in the dark to find switches when I get home from working night shift. Sadly, it’s a 50-50 chance that it may not work.

The smart plug makes it very easy to add Alexa controlled functionality to any device attached to it. It literally takes less than 2 minute to add the plug to your network on which Alexa is on by using your Alexa app.

Truly recommend the smart plug. I got it for my moms room and she loved it. Now she can turn on and off the lights without getting up. Recommend you buy it when it’s on sale for $10

I got this for free as part of my purchase of new laptop. The setup was quick and it’s pretty great. I’m definitely considering purchasing a couple more to spread out around the house.

Definitely wanna make sure you have access to it (for resetting as needed), but otherwise works great. We use them for lamps, curio cabinets, Christmas trees, etc. So convenient!

Coupled with Alexa, this makes life so much more convenient. Voice control allows lights that are connected to this plug to be turned on in the dark without having to fumble looking for a switch!

Bought this so that i can have alexa turn on the lights when i get home and my hands are full. Bought this one specifically because its ease of installation and compatibility with alexa.

This item came with the ring deal which I setup for my mom which included ( the ring a echo dot and 1 smart plug) i could not believe how useful they were for her so I bought more.she uses them thru the echo... nice.

I love this product! Very cool feature to have, i have it connected to a lamp and love that I'm able to turn it off with a command to Alexa or with my smartphone. Definitely recommend this product!

Plug works great and was easy to set up. I used it to plug in an angel with lights that sits at the top of my kitchen cabinet. Now I can just ask Alexa to turn it on.

It’s a plug. Not much to say. Wish it was smaller. It’s a little large and takes up space but functional. I actually purchased it while on sale. It’s a bit expensive.

This Amazon plug is really easy to install and it works as advertised. Took me less than 5 minutes to have it up and working. I’ve used other “plugs” for my Alexa but this one is by far the easiest to install.

I love this plug! It was easy to download the app to use. Now, when I am not home, I can turn on my lamp as though I am there. I don't have all the tech savvy things so this simple item is good for me.
