I ordered this to turn my christmas tree lights on and off automatically each day. It works well and is quiet. The mechanical timer I repalced this one with was not.

This was given as a gift to my mother to help her not walk into her room without light as her lamp was on the other side. She loves having the ability to turn on her light with a simple verbal request.

Does its job,I don't recall having too many issues. It can't be used without Alexa last I heard, though it's subjective if that will be a con or not to you. It's much bulkier than kasa plugs, so if your outlets just barely fit those, these won't fit as they are noticeably bigger.

Bought this for my daughter to go with the Echo I got her for Christmas. She is using it to turn on/off her lights. She loves it. Best of all it was a steal when bought with the Echo.
