Just received and tried to get my SR10000 Amped Repeater working, to no avail. Contacted Andrew - Concierge #108 at Amped Wireless Elite Support. We were on the phone for about 30 minutes and tried every conceivable way to get that thing to access the internet! Then we decided to change from my home network's encryption of WEP to WPA2. VOILA! SUCCESS! The repeater now works great! I have it located in the Living Room near my Samsung 46" LED TV where I can access the internet now! Thanks to the great support from Amped. They were real busy today but I left a number and they called me back to help me. Three cheers for Amped support!

This was easy enough to install, took about 15 minutes. We are in an RV and wanted to boost our campground connection, and a 10,000 ft extender should easily do the trick. Unfortunately, the first night we had a bit of a power outage, and the extender had to be reset. Not the product's fault. The reset button must have a pen or paper clip inserted, which was not explained anywhere and we wanted to double check that, first. I called tech support this morning and spoke with Yohannes - Concierge #140 . He was very patient explaining each step and guided me through a complete reset. Our connection is very strong, although we have a very weak campground signal. We connected at 53% and hung up the phone. Unfortunately, thats not enough signal and it lost connection. Yohannes had explained it so well (its about a 10 step process) that I was able to reset it myself and its working great. I have no doubt in this product, its really us who needs the stronger signal. This extender was recommended to me by a friend who had a similar problem of poor connection downstairs from the modem & router. I was not able to connect my computer to the extender using the instruction sheet but when I called the tech center the person there got me up & running in less than 10 minutes. Now anyone in our sun room gets excellent connection. Excellent value.

We use this in a basement placed directly under where the primary router broadcasts on the floor above (which is the strongest place it can receive signal). It is able to take that signal and extend it throughout the rest of the furnished basement at speeds that match what we get upstairs.

After set up which was performed with no assistence from Amped Wireless we had continual problems with IP conflicts. It wasn't until I called Amped and got Andrew #108 to assist me. He hung in there with me and worked diligently to get the problem corrected. I can not say enough about his patience and level of knowledge. He took charge and got the job done. Thanks Andrew!

This repeater does the job that many others can't. I too tried the likes of Netgear and some others and found that although it worked, it would cut out all the time which defeated the purpose for me. Since using the Amped it works all the time. Instructions are very clear which is important for me. And the product just does what its supposed to. The extra ports on the back are a plus since I use it for hooking up my netflix dvd player. Gets me 100% coverage in my entire home which is about 6000 sqft lot.

I have had this extender for a while, it is my 2nd. At first, I though I was going to have to return it because it seemed to be dropping the internet signal. After removing it from use, I found out the issue was not this router but my internet itself. Since then I have hooked it back up and anytime I have lost the internet, it has been because of my provider. The extender works great and was easy to set up compared to other. It is located in my basement to hookup my directv and other items down there to the internet. I can still get the signal from this extender all the way in my back yard.

I didn't even know about this product until I came across the website from a link on another page. After weeks of researching I decided to give this a try due to the fact that my PS3 was in the front room and the router was in another room and when I play online I was getting disconnects and my signal strength was between 85 to 75%. After adding this router I was impressed that the signal strength remains at a steady 100%!! I also liked the fact that on their website you can download an app that can give you a reading of how your network signal is stronger or weaker in your home and gives you the best channel to be on when other's are crowded. I updated the firmware---even though I wasn't having any issues before---just to get it up to par. Enjoying this product and highly suggest it!!

The agent called me within 10 minutes of my online chat inquiry with tech support, and the problem was solved in less than 10 minutes when the call began.

Although not too pleased with price!...The product is very good, and may be user-friendly (I'm not an A-Student), I still had to contact Tech-support. We bought to use at our lake place to get wifi throughout the house including the basement. Also extended the range to our dock which was better than we expected. Previous reviews were very helpful and accurate. Well worth the extra cost over other units.

This has to be the best repeater ever made. It is easy to setup in a variety of configurations and has amazing signal range. I can connect to my wifi at the neighbors house if I wanted to. The price is great considering there are higher priced products that don't give this performance. Absolutely great for a large house.

Installation should have been straightforward, but I made a mistake somewhere and couldn't figure out how to start over. Andrew at Amped Wireless technical support talked me through it and solved the problem in an expert and friendly way. The extender now gets the signal to where I wanted it to be.

I tried this range extender and it works ok but the Apple Airport express devices are better. This device is decent but not great/.

I bought this item after a lot of research. After all that, I am VERY disappointed!! The coverage area is no where near what it is advertised to be and every time that I power off a device(like a Blu Ray player or my phone) that is connected to it, I have to manually re-connect it by putting in the password. Overall, I'm very disappointed with the purchase and Best Buy's customer service.

I've purchased two of these range extenders to extended wireless networks. Both times the networks being extended I was only able to get 60-65% signal strength, which is a little below the recommended 70%. It was on my second install that I was having some problems getting everything setup and called the Amped wireless support. The individual I spoke with was very helpful and patient while getting everything up and running.f I'm very happy with the product and my experience with their support group. I'd recommend this product with out any hesitation.

If you want an extender just so you can get internet throughout your house or apartment, then this will do the job. If you do any kind of video, gaming, or photography, then this is NOT for you. It is 2.4GHz band only and has very slow transfer speeds and high latency. I replaced it after three days with a Netgear dual band extender and now I am getting twice the throughput. I am returning this one. It is NOT worth the $100.00 price tag.

I had some problems setting it up, called the AmpedWireless help line, got a gentleman named Andrew #108 on the phone and he went to great lengths, taking a considerable amount of his time to get me going. He straightened out the problems I was having and I was extremely happy with his work. Couldn't have been better or more pleasant.
