I have had the 10000 for about 18 months. Recently added an eprinter to my home network, but none of my devices could find the airprint feature. Talked to Amped support, added a firmware update and all works great. Thanks to Cedrick, #115 at Amped for all his help.

There is a reason why I’m writing this review from an internet connection that is not at my home. It’s because of the unreliability of my Amped Wifi extender. For the first month it worked great, then connections got more difficult. Sometimes it let my laptop connect but not my iPad, sometimes it stopped working altogether. I think the top antennae is for broadcasting wifi and the bottom antennae is some new invention that can tap into my thoughts and sense when I REALLY need a good internet connection, and not allow it. It seems like some sort of AI has been programmed into this device to maximize frustration. When the device stops working I have to reset and reconfigure it. This process usually takes a couple hours because it doesn’t work on the first try, not even the second try. Many an evening has been spent with drool running down my chin and blood vessels burst in my face because of how much cussing I have to do when resetting this device. The last time (two days ago) I reset the device I named in something like “F*CKF@C3” out of frustration because I figured it wouldn’t work anyway. Well, what do you know… it did work. Now, everyone in my neighborhood can see my sweet new router name. But I don’t dare change it because that would likely take several more hours. I’ll probably be excommunicated from church for this. I just angry sometimes.

Andrew - Concierge #108 was very helpful and took care of my problem relatively quickly and very courteously. He was very patient with me as we walked through multiple steps and he waited for my slow laptop to get the job done. I am very pleased with our Amped SR10000 wireless range extender.

Easy setup, works great. Customer service friendly & helpful.

Eric #162 was extremely helpful in walking me through the whole process. He never got frustrated with my lack of computer knowledge and over a long process got my extender configured.

Works 100% better than my last one. Would recommend it to everyone who is in the market
