My kid is hooked. Makes the long car rides easier.

If you've played previous Animal Crossing games then you'll feel right at home in this portable version. But the new things you can do in this one set it apart. That being said, if you put in a lot of hours on a previous title the new things in this one may not justify the price. The feature that will get hardcore Animal Crossers excited is the street pass feature. Finally, you can show off your awesome house to random strangers. You may never get any feedback about it, but you'll know it's out there.

I have always loved animal crossing games, I have spent a lot of time on this game and I love it too. Worth checking out.

Bought for my daughter - she loves this series and this one did not disappoint. She plays when she takes a break from studying but finds it addictive. She had to set it aside until after finals.

I must say this has become my daughters favorite game. She got it for Christmas and there is not a day she doesn't play it. She has made some friends on the game as well and enjoys the interaction. She has even got me into it :) And I must admit I enjoy going fishing and going on island trips.

Great game for kids. Bought this fort daughter and she loves it. She is able to play with her friends online.

I've only briefly played the Animal Crossing games before playing New Leaf. I will say, this one definitely drew me in. The 3D effects are fantastic as is the overall gameplay. I definitely recommend it, especially if you have friends to play it with, as you can visit their towns and trade.

New leaf is a great addition to the animal crossing series. Buy a house, fill it full of fun stuff and then go out and play games with your neighbors. Tons to do, each day brings new surprises.

This game is a great extension of the GameCube original. Feels just the same, with some welcome additions.

animal crossing is a HIGHLY addicting life simulator.. you will seriously not be able to put it down. it's got lots of activities to do AND it's in REAL TIME. so when it's dark the shops close, and you have to put it down, which is great for kids, and I guess us adults. ;)

This game is insanely adorable. I love the character design! I've been playing it with my wife and we get to share the town and build things up together and I"m having a blast. This is the perfect kind of DS game for me to just pull out and play for a little and put down.

I never played the original on the Game cube. But I was never interested in these types of games anyways. That is until I actually played it and became addicted to running my own darn town! Seriously I never thought a game like this could be this much fun. Who knew?

This is the type of game that you can play in many different ways. Want to build and outfit your home? You can do it. Want to go on an adventure? You can do it. Interested in your character's appearance? Lots of ways to change it. Game is a lot of fun and contains all of the little pieces of humor that Animal Crossing is known for. It can be complex, too. So older kids (and adults) can find enjoyment as well as younger kids. There are quests that are pretty tricky to solve, but smaller kids can just pick up and explore the town areas for fetch quest type things. All in all, great game.

DAUGHTER LOVE THE VIRTUAL WORLD , CHARACTERS ARE VERY PLEASENT AND APPEAR TO INTERACT VERY WELL

I started out playing AC on the Gamecube, but could never get into the subsequent DS and Wii versions. The DS one despite being portable felt limited (yes, I'm saying that mostly because of the graphics), and the Wii version felt like more of the same. That's not to say this isn't more of the same either, but the graphical quality of a portable AC finally matches the Gamecube, incorporates the new features from the DS and Wii entries, and tosses in its own new twists. That gives it my recommendation for series veterans as well as newcomers.

The game does not disappoint!.. You can travel to your friends towns and play with them. You can fish, grow fruit, catch butterflies, decorate your house & town.

I bought this for my wife and she thoroughly enjoys it. It's a basic Animal Crossing game so if you enjoyed previous installments, this one delivers a similar experience. Some of the tasks were poorly iterated but it's nothing too frustrating.

If you're into what Animal Crossing is all about, you'll love this entry in the series. Repetitive, deep, and cute.

Animal Crossing has always been known for its cute aesthetics, goofy yet lovable characters, and its nonstop addicting gameplay. Those that are a fan of simulators look no further as you have the holy grail of them all sitting right here. I have yet to meet anyone who has put under 200 hours into their Animal Crossing: New Leaf game. Being as old as it is, it is a testament to the game and Nintendo's timeless development prowess that shows the endless amount of fun you can have with it at any given moment, no matter how much time passes.
