If you're a fan of the series this is a must buy. Makes full utilization of the two screens on the 3DS. Shame there isn't one coming out for the Wii U.

good, fun, interesting, easy to understand, great caracters , kids love to play it

This game will keep you busy for months. Each holiday season something different is going on and so the play value is huge! Get it if you like Sims.

It's a very fun game. You like become a mayor for no reason and you make friends with a bunch of furries and it's cool. Yeah... Fun times. :)

i bought each of my kids this game. 8yr old and 11yr old. they both enjoy playing it for hours, they can link up and play together via wifi.

A wonderful game that just makes you happy. The more you play the game over time rather than all in a days time, the more you will get rewarded.

I purchased this game for my 12 year old son, who enjoys many of the simulation games out there. But I play it quite a bit myself! The game is charming; you essentially become the mayor of your village and you spend your days building the village as you see fit, tending to the concerns of your villagers. It is highly addicting game play and definitely recommended!

Animal Crossing can be a hard concept to grasp at first but once you get into your own little town you will quickly be enamored by the cute characters, easy going gamplay and how many days, weeks, and months you can play without getting bored. Recently, my brother bought the game too and he can not put it down. The multiplayer is a ton of fun!

By far, the best iteration of Animal Crossing to date. If you're familiar with the previous games, this game is only different based upon the fact that your role is mayor rather than villager. More content than in previous games, but a great deal of familiarity if you've played the previous titles. Literally a game you can play forever.

My youngest son just had to have this after watching his older brother having a blast playing this game. Fun for the whole family!!

Animal Crossing is perfect for a low-impact, calming game. No action here; you are a mayor trying to run a small village filled with anthropomorphic animals. You can upgrade your house, add statues and other landmarks, find bugs and fossils you can sell or donate to the local museum...it is a lot like Harvest Moon in that there really isn't a defined path or end goal. It isn't perfect, and it isn't for everyone, but if you are looking for a quiet game to just play and relax, Animal Crossing is the game for you.

My kid loved this game. She's a tween and it keeps her busy when there is no internet or we are not busy doing other things.

This is a game both boys and girls enjoy. It was played non stop on a two hour car ride. Great game for the quiet it provides.

This was my first Animal Crossing game and I was not disappointed. There are so many things to do. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I've definitely enjoyed animal crossing as a whole since I've started playing it. It's cute and fun and very creative. The only real challenge it offers is the continual, daily upkeep of the town that you become the Mayor of. Watering every flower, picking up weeds, digging up fossils, and continuing to make the in-game currency can feel like a chore at times. However, it comes with the rewarding feeling of having a beautiful town that you yourself helped piece together. There's also a lot of waiting involved in the game to unlock content. It takes a day to do this, a day to do that. But that's the trick that keeps you excited and coming back to see what else is new for the day. It's not a challenging game, but it's very cute and definitely gets you thinking creatively.

i bought dis for my 10 yr old daughters bday...she loves it...has so many interesting things to do wit it....its a great game

I've had tons of fun with this game, and it definitely deserves to be part of Nintendo's discount program. It's surprising and exciting that it'll be getting an update this fall. I bought this for my girlfriend so she wouldn't have to keep sharing my town and so that we could play together instead of taking turns.
