Even if you don't want to necessarily mount it somewhere, it can be just placed about anywhere and pick up most channels in the area. Amplifier helps a lot.

What a difference this one made. All channels are clear, sound is perfect, hardly any interference. Great buy!

Have it located inside and get pretty good reception. Once I get this on the roof, I anticipate much better signal. Directions are great and easy to assemble.
