Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the ClearStream 4MAX antenna's strong reception, resulting in great picture quality and a high channel count. Users also appreciate its ease of use during installation, as well as its overall performance and signal strength. While some find the antenna a little pricey and bulky, the positive aspects appear to outweigh these concerns for most users.

I bought an antenna specifically for my Tivo service and the first one I bought was a cheap one and I could barely get local channels to record the football games. When they did come in, the signals was really weak and sometimes unbearable to watch. I would recommend this and also I would recommend Tivo Edge to record all your antenna entertainment!

Was cutting the cable cord and needed an antenna for multiple tv’s. Using this antenna I wired it to the cable tv splitter input and used all the existing cable tv wiring to 7 tv’s. Tested all 7 tv’s on at the same time which would never happen but all received a perfect picture. Mounted in a storage area in the attic. I have to note I live about 15 miles from downtown Chicago so this may help with my great reception. Also didn’t need to use the included amplifier.

Got rid of cable, it was terribly high, so I ordered this HD tv antenna and I received it today got it setup, hooked up behind tv and started watching digital tv, FREE! After scanning, it found 43 channels, including local Topeka Ks stations with great quality picture. I did not face it WEST toward the transmitter tower and yet it picked up the 43 channaels. I will move the antenna the next few days to the attic facing WEST and hope to get more channels and hopefully I will be able to watch some college and pro football games. Great antenna, it is a little pricey and not very big. I would have been okay with a little less expensive tv antenna and still pulled in as many stations. But, I like the one I bought, and happy with it.

Works great. This is great for an elderly person that can't see very well. Gets the local channels plus quite a few other channels. Just sat the antenna on the sill of the bow window and ran the cable from that to the tv. Easy installation. Would definitely recommend this.

This antenna brings in the 4 main network channels that are 75 miles away from us. Picture is very good. Also we get other channels like Metv, Outlaw, Ion, Court tv Escape and others. Probably around 20 all together. In town the wind doesn’t affect the signal much. Great way for local channels without the cable price.

I bought this antenna when I cancelled cable. I installed it in the attic with the supplied hardware. It was surprisingly easy and I was shocked by how many channels I was able to receive. The picture is super clear and I'll be recouping the cost of this product within a couple months.

easy set up and the 30 foot cable was just the right length to run from my roof to first floor, brought in moor channels than i had when i was paying for cable and just as clear although i will get some pixelation with some channels but not a big problem.mine is on the roof so caution is needed if you mount it there.

I had zero channels coming in before I hooked up this antenna. Now I have 72. I'm in a valley in Northeast Ohio and this brings in 72 Crystal clear channels. I'm pleasantly stunned. Well worth the money.

The only reason I didn’t give it four stars is that I tried to install it in my attic and there was too much interference due to the fact that my home is new and the energy efficient materials dampened the antenna’s signal (30+ channels)I ended up running coax to the corner of my backyard and mounted it on a post with excellent results(over 100 channels). I still use a streaming service but without live TV and installed a Tablo. The savings in streaming service pays for the antenna, Tablo and all associated installation costs within 6 months (break even).

I bought this antenna to put an end to an ever-increasing cable bill. I have had bad luck with past antennas, but I decided to try this form factor after reading the positive reviews and getting friend's recommendations, BestBuy sells two versions: the antenna alone or this version that includes the coax cable, splitter, and signal amplifier. At $50 more than just the basic antenna, the whole package was still less than one month of cable. It took a little time to assemble, but the pictures and instructions are easy to follow. I assembled it and set it outside for a test run. At first I was terribly disappointed - almost angry, but Antennas Direct Inc. includes a full page of tips and troubleshooting advice including a phone app to help you point the antenna. The app showed me exactly where to point the antenna (I was way off) and I was able to pick up 41 of the 43 available stations within a 75 mile radius, all super-sharp, in high definition and no drops or pixelation. The antenna performed so well, I even mounted it *inside* my garage! And being indoors, the antenna is protected from the weather, which by the way, a thunderstorm did roll through and we never lost picture. The antenna is well built, with solid materials and a beefy coax cable. Connectors are well-machined and the exterior connector has a weather boot. The mounting arm is light-weight and easy to adjust in all directions. The splitter allows for three connections, although I only use two. The signal amp is the only shortcoming, with thin cable compared to the rest, although it works very well. It would be nice to have an LED to indicate that the signal amp is receiving power. I am thrilled with this antenna, and my wife is happy with the number of channels and the clarity of picture. I couldn't ask for more. Yes, I highly recommend it.
