I had a Terk 65+ mile indoor that I just payed in my closet and connected to excising cables to send signal to various rooms..only had 2 TV’s hooked up but wanted to add third and see if moving antenna to attic would improve signal. I installed this clear stream and only 1 tv hooked up and I get signal but also a lot of pixaltion or weak signals. 1 tv and the amplifier is plugged in. I think my terk that I carelessly just laying in the closet got better signal strength and I paid much less for it.

Posted .Hi Bill! Antenna signals can be tricky due to fluctuations in signal strength coming from the TV transmitting towers and atmospheric conditions. Please try moving the antenna to another location, up higher is always best, and rescan your TV for channels. We recommend you try moving your antenna to several locations and rescan your TV every time you move the antenna until you find the best signals. Also, please try running a channel scan without the included amplifier to see if that improves your signal reception or the number of channels you are receiving. 60 or 70 mile antenna

We always come to Best Buy and buy our electronics. We like the people in Sherman. The customer service is fantastic.

Posted .Hi Moe! Thank you for your purchase and honest review of our ClearStream 4MAX Complete HDTV Antenna. Depending on your distance from the nearest towers, you may want to run a channel scan without the included amplifier. Over-amplification can occur if you are trying to use an amp too close to the broadcast towers and could very well make your reception worse. We also have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your iOS or Android phone. Once you download, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. If these tips do not help, before you return the antenna, please give our tech support team a call at 877-825-5572 and they will perform a FREE detailed signal analysis of your location, this will better assist them in pinpointing what the problem may be.
